$3.63 is the cheapest in town

Here's the current listing.

I don't remember what gasoline got up to a few years back, but I think it was around this territory. It spiked to ~$3.65 at the station near where I worked in Dallas but the most I'd paid during a fillup was ~$3.45.

I suspect the freak-out point will occur when we start seeing $4.00 for regular around town.

Looks like we're climbing up there.

My 15yo car is averaging a gps- and pump-calibrated 27.8mpg at the moment. Take that, SUV that cut me off in traffic this A.M. with nary a signal... I hope that full-throttle blast cost you $5.

Gasoline price listing for Richardson

In case you haven't seen this kind of thing, there are sites that track gasoline prices in a particular area. Here's one page for Richardson.

I load that page every day. I do it to stay aware of pricing trends rather than to chase 2c less per gallon price differentials.

My old car still averages 29mpg and I am grateful for it. If the prices get really bad I can swap to the motorcycle which gets 49-52mpg, depending on how much self-restraint I can force into my throttle hand. :-)
