more spin/waste at $0.335 per household

As I said before, Mr. Mayor, stop sending us spin on our own dime.

Is there ANYTHING in this letter you couldn't have posted online or sent in your weekly email instead?

Note: only a rough scan of the front side uploaded. I assume we'll all have a copy soon enough, anyhow.

Got the Mayor's letter today. Besides the cost of sending it, what do you want to bet the City's PR firm retained at $7500 per month either wrote or provided the skeleton for the letter.

What lengths of self aggrandizement at taxpayer's expense will this small city's Mayor and management extend to next?

Just because the long term mossbacks are not running, doesn't mean the clones they support will be any better at considering taxpayer's interests first, rather than the buddy, buddy insider/ contractor favored status quo we've had for the last 20 years.

What is wrong with the City simply explaining what and why they are proposing an action, and openly answering questions regarding their stance?

Evidently, the COR must not be confident in the public perception of their proposals they require the "spin" of a completely unnecessary Cooksey PR firm.

Got mine yesterday too. Agree with the above posted comment. They are crazy for wasting money in this manner.

Why do you say they are crazy??? Why, I'm thrilled to know that the vote was done on Valentine's Day ... and that in 20 years, we'll all love the new development!!!!
