Dear Shouty McRedshirt

Please don't yell and curse in our candidate forums.

We wouldn't shout and curse when you're playing on the golf course (or at the Eisemann with cronies), so extend us the same courtesy.

Thanks.

Bloggermouse-
Please elaborate on circumstances prompting this fellows vocal outburst.

There was a spirited give/take about amenities (ie, Eisemann) at the end.*

Shouty got fired up by something [John DeMattia?] said and started bellowing at him, tossing in something like "the GD thing is already built!**" and punctuating with a "PAY ATTENTION!" at the end. The video that was running should be able to provide more/better detail.

Perhaps Shouty is used to treating folks like that at work so he feels comfortable doing it at a civic meeting. IIRC it was the only incivil moment of the evening.

If I were going to be a belligerent I wouldn't wear what appeared to be a company shirt to the event.***

* half the crowd left at 8:30pm.
** oh, don't get me started on this logic

Talked to the man after the event.
He lives in the neighborhood and is totally frustrated by everything going on in this city.
Feels kind of helpless, as I can well understand. No excuse for the shout out though. I think
De Mattia also talked to him and felt good about the conversation

Glad to hear he talked it out with DeMattia.

I know I've made points more forcefully (and profanely) than I intended before. I know many recipes for crow. Always bitter, but can be more palatable depending on preparation and practice. :-)
